Peppermint Rice Krispies

Merry belated Christmas my loves!! With all the craziness that went on this holiday season I’ve still managed to attempt and be creative to give you something new and delicious to try! Since it’s the day after Christmas I’ll make this post quick! It’s peppermint Rice Krispie Treats! Anyone who has every made Rice Krispie treats knows that the recipe is on the back of the box, so if you decide on trying these you can follow the instructions on there…I will save myself and you the trouble of putting the recipe all on today’s blog! The only thing I changed, is instead of regular marshmallows I used peppermint marshmallows to give it a holiday twist! I also sprinkled powered sugar on them for added sweetness, Here’s the final product!

Robby’s baseball t-shirt

Hi there friends! Tonight I wanted to share a quick craft project that’s sure to put a smile on the baseball lovers face! This is a little gift for my little
cousin Robert!

What you’ll need!
White t-shirt
Fabric paint
Paint brushes
Water

Step one
I free handed the baseball on the shirt with red fabric paint. You can trace a baseball print pattern to your shirt if you like.

Step two
Let the baseball pattern dry, this may take like a hour. I like the baseball pattern left alone but for a little personalization I added Robert the All-star! I thought it would be a cute addition to his little sporty shirt. This is completely up to you. This too was free handed but you can buy stencils if you aren’t comfortable.

It’s always nice getting a custom gift! It shows love and thoughtfulness! If you aren’t as crafty as I am that’s ok too!! Remember it’s the thought that counts, people just like to be thought of! Whether it’s a card or call, it doesn’t matter…long as they know they are thought of!

Wealth and Royalty

Happy Friday my prosperous peeps! Today I’m feeling a little rich In the spirit! Often we look at things in monetary value, when simply sometimes it’s not about how much we have it’s about how much faith we have! The color purple represents wealth and royalty I envisioned myself stepping through the gates of heaven draped in purple meeting our Heavenly Father! I did a little quad of things that I thought would look good on me in the color that I feel suits my vision today. When you dress, dress to impress! Wear things that improve you and your thinking! How we present ourselves make up a lot of our own and other peoples thoughts on us! We should attempt to dress our best even when we aren’t feeling so. Here’s my purple fashion for what I call faith Friday!!

Lollipop bouquet

Happy Friday sweetie pies!!! Hope you have a fun filled Friday! Today, I wanted to share a lollipop bouquet that I made as a gift to my most sweetest and dearest friend! She has been ride or die since we were seven! This bouquet is a token of her sweet dear friendship. We have never fallen out, or lost touched! She is trustworthy, and her friendship means more to me than she’ll ever know! Here’s to you Erica!

What you’ll need!

Styrofoam ball
Flower pot
Newspaper
Glue gun
A bag of your favorite lollipops
Ribbon

Step one
Fill the styrofoam ball up with as many lollipops as you can, make sure you don’t see any styrofoam in-between. Leave the bottom of the ball lollipop free, you need room to glue the styrofoam ball to the pot. You want your bouquet to be beautiful!

Step two
Stuff the flower pot with balled up newspaper. (Add a little glue so the newspaper balls don’t move around.)

Step three
Glue your ball to the newspaper and the pot.

Step four
Tie a pretty ribbon around the pot!

There it is…a sweet gift for the sweetest friend!

Easy veggie chicken & broccoli fettuccine

Happy day beautiful people!! It’s fettuccine Friday here at my house!!! Today, I wanted to share my veggie chicken and broccoli fettuccine. For the meat lovers you can substitute the veggie chicken with chicken breast or chicken strips! So let’s gets started!!

What you’ll need! (Recipe feeds about 6)
1 bag of gardein lightly seasoned chick’n scallopini
1 box of fettuccine
2 jars of Alfredo sauce (I like Bertolli)
1 bag of frozen broccoli

Step one
Cook your fettuccine, drain it and put aside.

Step two
Sauté your broccoli in a little olive oil.

Step three
In another pan spray Pam or oil your pan with olive oil; season your gardein chick’n and cook until both sides are cooked evenly. Put the cooked chick’n aside.

Step four
Pour the two jars of Alfredo over the sautéed broccoli. Season the Alfredo and broccoli; stir and cook until heated.

Step 5
Slice your chick’n into strips,

Step 6
Depending on how many people you are serving plate the fettuccine. Place about 6 chick’n strips over each serving of fettuccine. Some people like their fettuccine saucy, some don’t! It’s up to you how much of your Alfredo and broccoli sauce you want poured over your noodles. Pour as much as you like!

There it is, a easy meal that saves time and hunger! I like to have my fettuccine with cheesy garlic bread!

You called, so I’m back!

Hey y’all!! I’m so excited to be blogging again! So many people were disappointed In the fact that I stopped, so I came up with a plan that will make blogging easy and enjoyable for me! As I told you before, I just had way too many projects and responsibilities! Enough with all the rambling, I’m back! So long friends

Happy Saturday, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking almost too much thinking lol! I’ve learned over the years I’ve given out so much of myself that I haven’t saved enough for me. When I created this blog my intentions/goal were to share a few of my gifts that were given to me by our Heavenly Father. I feel in my spirit I’ve done just that. Blogging was a creative outlet, a place to share a little of me with my readers. As time has passed I’ve come to a decision that will be best for God first and myself second. The energy I’ve used for this blog can be used for my true dream. Yes I love blogging, but truthfully it’s time for me to do something for Christian. God is ready for me to use my gift as who he has truly called me to be. The Virtuous Woman. It has been a blast sharing all my adventures but it’s time to say goodbye for now. I have duties, responsibilities that I have to tend to and a business to build. Love you dearly thank you for all your encouragement, comments and love! You will truly be missed!

Miracle babies

When I think back to my pregnancy and how difficult it was, it makes me so thankful that I had faith that I would make it through. There were a few times the doctors told me they didn’t see the fetus! Ha….I said, the baby is In there! I expected my baby to make it full term and to be healthy! Almost 17 months later she is here happy, sassy, funny and healthy!!! Far more than what I expected!!! When I think about my cousin who went into labor early because the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby’s neck; she didn’t fret because she knew in her heart of hearts that her baby girl would pull through; she expected her baby to be okay! When I think about my other cousin and her journey with having her son extremely prematurely, being in and out the hospital; she never said he’s not going to make it! She kept fighting! She expected her her baby to be a survivor and to come home whole! In these three cases we expected our babies, to survive…to be healthy and strong! Not that it was easy, not that we didn’t have days that we had to be extremely persistent in our faith and pray constantly…we expected our babies, our now MIRACLES!!!! This message is for someone who is still expecting their baby! I wrote this for you… No names, hopefully you know who you are! Your baby is just getting it’s last touches from the angels to be delivered to your womb! Get ready!!

Loving unconditionally

Good afternoon! I watched Joel Osteen today and he preached on loving unconditionally! Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, you don’t know a persons situation, we aren’t perfect; give everyone a chance! It was a beautiful message! Then he gave a beautiful example of how a mother, a father and their 1 year old was out eating breakfast. The little boy kept smiling laughing, and playing and the mother didn’t know why! She finally saw the baby was so entertained by a man sitting a little ways from them. The man looked to be homeless, less fortunate, hair wasn’t combed his clothes weren’t clean…you get the point. The baby wouldn’t stop playing with the man across the room! The man even spoke loudly to the baby, saying hi! The mother and father tried to hurry and eat out of embarrassment! When they were finished the mother was at the register and was about to pay. The man so happened to be behind her, the baby reached for the man and eventually was held by the man. The baby laid his head on the mans shoulder, the man had dirty hands and all. The moral of the story is, the baby was so innocent and had an unconditional love for the man! Not judging him because of his appearance! Joel Osteen said we should aspire to be like that innocent baby! Loving unconditionally! Stop judging and start loving! Our world needs love, the people around us that we think have issues need love not judgement! I thought about my innocent daughter! She doesn’t judge me, she only knows the world as a happy place. She comes to me with open arms and embraces me as I am, flaws and all. That’s how we should be!
We all need love, let’s start loving and stop judging!
