Wealth and Royalty

Happy Friday my prosperous peeps! Today I’m feeling a little rich In the spirit! Often we look at things in monetary value, when simply sometimes it’s not about how much we have it’s about how much faith we have! The color purple represents wealth and royalty I envisioned myself stepping through the gates of heaven draped in purple meeting our Heavenly Father! I did a little quad of things that I thought would look good on me in the color that I feel suits my vision today. When you dress, dress to impress! Wear things that improve you and your thinking! How we present ourselves make up a lot of our own and other peoples thoughts on us! We should attempt to dress our best even when we aren’t feeling so. Here’s my purple fashion for what I call faith Friday!!

Miracle babies

Expectancy is the atmosphere for miracles. ~Edwin Louis Cole
When I think back to my pregnancy and how difficult it was, it makes me so thankful that I had faith that I would make it through. There were a few times the doctors told me they didn’t see the fetus! Ha….I said, the baby is In there! I expected my baby to make it full term and to be healthy! Almost 17 months later she is here happy, sassy, funny and healthy!!! Far more than what I expected!!! When I think about my cousin who went into labor early because the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby’s neck; she didn’t fret because she knew in her heart of hearts that her baby girl would pull through; she expected her baby to be okay! When I think about my other cousin and her journey with having her son extremely prematurely, being in and out the hospital; she never said he’s not going to make it! She kept fighting! She expected her her baby to be a survivor and to come home whole! In these three cases we expected our babies, to survive…to be healthy and strong! Not that it was easy, not that we didn’t have days that we had to be extremely persistent in our faith and pray constantly…we expected our babies, our now MIRACLES!!!! This message is for someone who is still expecting their baby! I wrote this for you… No names, hopefully you know who you are! Your baby is just getting it’s last touches from the angels to be delivered to your womb! Get ready!!

Miracle babies!!!

Who’s your God?

Hi there! Today I wanted to focus on the God in your life. So many of us has turned the focus of the one who is suppose to be our God, our savior, our mentor, our leader, our strength, our hero into someone who is not worthy of it. The king, our Heavenly Father should get all the worship and the praise for he is worthy. You wonder why your not happy? You wonder why you feel low, lonely, mistreated and used? The truth is because God is a jealous God and you are not giving him what he deserves! You should make him first. Stop devoting all your time, emotions, and cares on the one who mistreats you, and devote it to the creator! He is the one who can help you. Take time today to make it right for he is and should be your first love! How dare you forget that! We owe him everything; our hearts, our souls, all of us!! Make him your GOD!!! He is and always will be the one who will never fail you! Don’t make him jealous! Remember, when he is not #1 in our lives he gets jealous!

Oh how I love thee

When I think of the goodness of Jesus and all he’s done for me, my soul cries out hallelujah, thank God for saving me! Today, I was granted the blessing of seeing truth! For a long time I questioned why I lost certain people in my life and why I had to let so many people go. Now at the age of 30 I’m finally truly understanding why that is. A very special person told me that they can’t go where your going. I didn’t get that then… But today I do! Today I spent time with the people who love me more than life, who value, and cherish, me. The people I can trust, and depend on, and who won’t ever betray or hate on me. My life isn’t perfect but it’s as perfect as life gets. It’s a life that was designed for me and me only. When I look back over my life and think things over… I can truly say that I’ve been blessed I have a testimony! I loooove my family each and every one of them. Each of them
hold a special and dear place in my heart, today I found who my soul truly loves! My Chicago family and my Florida family! I didn’t spend today with everyone but today I realized my soul loves you all; I know you all love me!

I Can

Image

The no filly for tonight is…Philipians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” YOU CAN DO ANYTHING, WITH GOD! Remember this scripture when you feel like giving up. Can’t, should never be in your vocabulary. We face obstacles that sometimes seem unbearable to tackle, to conquer or to survive. The truth is, God is with us every step of the way. Have faith in yourself, you can do it, you will make it. I believe in you and most of all God does! Don’t doubt, just do!!!

Robby’s home!

This is such a wonderful day, I am so excited to announce the arrival of my cousin’s baby Robert coming home. For those of you who don’t know, Robby was premature and was in the hospital since December; making that a total of six months! Yes, six months… Yesterday Robby was released to go home and be with his beautiful mommy and daddy. Jackie, (Robby’s mom) has been an absolute solider through out this journey. I couldn’t imagine having to face some of the challenges that her and Lorenzo (Robby’s dad) had to face. I commend her as a mom, she was strong, she had faith, courage, and distributed all the love a mommy could give to bring her beautiful baby home. You are an absolute Super-Mom Jackie, may you inspire other mothers out there like you. I am proud of you, your persistence, consistency, and drive is unfathomable. To never give up, and to keep going even when the going got tough, you are an ultimate mommy!!!

Here’s to you mommy!

“There is no way to be a perfect mother, and a million ways to be a good one.” Jill Churchill

“When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.” Sophia Loren

CONGRATULATIONS JACKIE & LORENZO!

Here’s their beautiful baby boy!

5 ways to mend a broken heart

Image

picture taken from ThegioiWallpaper.com

Happy Monday to all my lovely readers! Today, I wanted to share 5 ways that are unfiltered, meaning not sugar-coated, but just down right real on how to mend a broken heart. These are sure ways to heal, I can attest to them.

1st way to mend a broken heart

FASTING AND PRAYER

Matthew 17:21, “But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” The first way to really mend a broken heart is to turn everything over to God; without God nothing is possible. Prayer and fasting is a sure way to break any ties whether it being a soul tie or just an attachment that is un-natural and demonic. Usually, when you have no explanation for what you are feeling and why you are feeling that way it is a spirit; a spirit that needs to be let loose. The only way to break the barrier is to fast and pray; consistently, whole heartedly and God will deliver you and set you free, (this is a promise).

2nd way to mend a broken heart

EAT RIGHT, THINK RIGHT

1 Corinthians 6:19-20, “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” The second way to mend a broken heart, is to value yourself, your mind, body and soul. Watch what you put in your body. What goes in your body will definitely come out. Your body is a temple. If you are eating toxins you will think in a toxic matter; but if you are eating properly you will think properly, helping your heart to mend. Remember: food is a source of energy, watch what you eat!

3rd way to mend a broken heart

FEAR NOT

Isaiah 41-13, ” I am the LORD your God, who holds your right hand, and I tell you, Don’t be afraid, I will help you.” Do not fear being alone, some of the most powerful progression comes from being alone and standing with God. You are able to see who you truly are and who God called you to be, by standing strong and walking away from the past. The past had you held down in gloom, stand up strong so you can be the flower God called you to be and bloom.

4th way to mend a broken heart

SHARE WITH YOUR TRUE FRIEND/FRIENDS

1 Thessalonians 5:11, “Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.” A true friend is not one that just allows you to build them up, but they help encourage you as well. Friends are supposed to help one another spiritually, mentally and emotionally. If you are down they should be strong enough to help lift you back up! If they can’t help lift you up, you need to re-evaluate your friendship. You want a spiritual friend, one that uses wisdom and care when talking to you at such a critical time in your life. The key to this particular moment in your life is: truth, patience and sensitivity. A true friend will know how to balance and distribute all three.

5th way to mend a broken heart

LOVE THYSELF

Proverbs 19:8, “He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.” Remember that it’s ok to love yourself; this is a must, especially when healing. If you don’t love yourself in this process you are going to fail, and your heart WILL STAY BROKEN! Love yourself, treat yourself!!! You are more than a conqueror, you are the VICTOR! You can survive on faith and faith alone! This is your time, your season, you will win!!! Remember like the beautiful scripture above states, ...he that keeps understanding shall find good. Understand the process, and that God brought you to it and he will bring you through it! There is sunshine and a rainbow at the end of a rainy day!!!

I hope and pray that this will guide and help heal a broken heart! You are beautiful, powerful and called for greatness.

She Rises

To the women in my life who continues to rise regardless of what happens in her life. She is the sexiest, sassiest, strongest women I know. Her strength, faith and courage inspires me. She rises above it all. Today this post is for you mommy, smile, you are truly amazing!!!

Image

Still I Rise
Maya Angelou, 1928
You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
‘Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I’ll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by my soulful cries?

Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don’t you take it awful hard
‘Cause I laugh like I’ve got gold mines
Diggin’ in my own backyard.

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.

Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I’ve got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history’s shame
I rise
Up from a past that’s rooted in pain
I rise
I’m a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.

Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that’s wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.

To all the women that rise above it all, I love you and continue to stand tall!!!

His mercy endures forever

Image

picture taken fromfrvlad.blogspot.com

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”, Romans 3:23. Have you ever felt like you’ve done something unforgiveble? As if God won’t forgive or heal you, and that he may even turn his back on you? The truth is, no matter how sanctimonious a person may act they have sinned too. Life is all about trials, tribulations and triumphs. The triumphs are what keep us going, because at the end of the trials and tribulations there is victory, when you are truly serving the Lord. It is a beautiful feeling to know that we are truly loved by our father God, more than we love ourselves. No matter how great or small the mistake you’ve made he will forgive you. “His mercy endures forever,” Psalms 136. Know that if you repent and ask for God’s forgiveness, you are healed and forgiven. Live daily by this scripture, Psalms 116:1-2, ” I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.” You are a child of God, he loves and forgives you! Remember that!!!

I hope this reached at least one heart today.
