It’s actually cute on her, considering she is Future’s fiancé…now they match. I just think that she might get bored with it after a while. Well to each it’s own, sometimes people get bored. I know I do! She wears them well!

Hey peeps! Happy Thursday! When I was in Miami I was intrigued by some of the beautifully made garments in this one boutique! Unfortunately, I was so fascinated by the perfectly embellished clothing I forgot the name! I remember exactly where it was, so when I go back I will get the name and share it with you. Anyone that knows me, knows I looooooove sparkle! So these pieces had Christian written all over them! The thing is, I like Miami because of the flamboyancy it carries! I think I’m a flamboyant kind of a girl, therefore I felt like I was right at home… The dresses were to die for, btw if I die make sure they bury me in the black dress below! The dress was $6,000, I didn’t try it on because I knew I would fall instantly in love. Check out the Robin’s, I was like a kid in a candy store!! Happy Monday friends! Today I just wanted to share a picture of an outfit that I wore last night out to eat with the hubby that reminded me of the 70’s…completly out of the norm. It’s nice to change it up sometimes. The 70’s had some real cool looks. Bell bottoms being one of my favorites! Hello there!!! I hope your day is filled with peace, love and joy! So…today I am so excited to share RiRi’s CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers in America) award ensemble!!! Where of course she won the style icon award! She is getting flack and great feedback from this revealing, daring and I don’t give a care look. Personally, I loooove it! Is it raunchy?! It depends on your views…beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The body is an form of art. If you enjoy art you might enjoy this! The dress she wore was channeled after the beautiful Josephine Baker. I know, I know, I just did a post on Rhianna channeling Princess Di, but isn’t it such a coincidence that just a few days later, here she is channeling another beauty from the past. Some call It copying…well, I think if you add your twist and don’t over do it, it’s inspiration. Now…RiRi is really doing some extreme taking and converting! She does it so well though!!! We all get inspiration from somewhere, if she admires them enough to take a risk and add her twist, I commend her. The designer of the vivacious dress is Adam Selman.

Happy Thursday beautiful people! I had the urge to do a post on my favorite fashion icons! I have a few but after sorting through my favorites I came across something extremely coincidental and fun. Two of my top fave fashion icons are Rihanna and Princess Diana. Up until yesterday I didn’t notice how many similarities in style the two have. Rihanna even said in Glamour magazine that, “…you know who is the best who ever did it? Princess Diana. She was like-she killed it. Every look was right. She was a gangsta with her clothes. She had these crazy hats. She got oversize jackets. I loved everything she wore,” according to Huffpost.com. I absolutely love the two, and it makes it even more dynamic that the duo are from two different eras, two different cultures yet have so many style similarities. Certain pieces will never go out of style, let Ri RI and Princess Di show you how’s it’s done!!!

Good evening my playful S.D.C. buddies! Today, I wanted to share a few fashionable mommy and baby moments from over the weekend. I guess it’s true, daughter like mother. I have created a fashionista in training! So much of my personality comes from my mother, she trained me to the best to her ability and I believe she did an excellent job! Not tooting my own horn or anything!!! I just know spiritually, my mother is the reason I am who I am today. I laugh looking at some of the images in this post, because I see how a mother’s existence, training, persistence, spirit and love can alter a child’s mood, personality and traits. You have to try to be the best you there is. Your child mimics you; your moods, your actions and your spirit. Remember, they are an extension of you. As the bible says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6. Mommy, thank you for teaching me to fear the Lord and make him first, to treat others the way I would like to be treated, to be clean physically and spiritually, to love myself, how to be an exceptional mother and last but definitely not least to believe in my dreams as you do. I promise to pass down all these things to Auggie. First, she has to learn that, “fashion is very important, It is life-enhancing and like everything that gives pleasure, it is worth doing well” Vivienne Weswood!!!
Sometimes the best moments are caught off guard.
