Happy Monday to all my lovely readers! Today, I wanted to share 5 ways that are unfiltered, meaning not sugar-coated, but just down right real on how to mend a broken heart. These are sure ways to heal, I can attest to them.

1st way to mend a broken heart

FASTING AND PRAYER

Matthew 17:21, “But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” The first way to really mend a broken heart is to turn everything over to God; without God nothing is possible. Prayer and fasting is a sure way to break any ties whether it being a soul tie or just an attachment that is un-natural and demonic. Usually, when you have no explanation for what you are feeling and why you are feeling that way it is a spirit; a spirit that needs to be let loose. The only way to break the barrier is to fast and pray; consistently, whole heartedly and God will deliver you and set you free, (this is a promise).

2nd way to mend a broken heart

EAT RIGHT, THINK RIGHT

1 Corinthians 6:19-20, “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” The second way to mend a broken heart, is to value yourself, your mind, body and soul. Watch what you put in your body. What goes in your body will definitely come out. Your body is a temple. If you are eating toxins you will think in a toxic matter; but if you are eating properly you will think properly, helping your heart to mend. Remember: food is a source of energy, watch what you eat!

3rd way to mend a broken heart

FEAR NOT

Isaiah 41-13, ” I am the LORD your God, who holds your right hand, and I tell you, Don’t be afraid, I will help you.” Do not fear being alone, some of the most powerful progression comes from being alone and standing with God. You are able to see who you truly are and who God called you to be, by standing strong and walking away from the past. The past had you held down in gloom, stand up strong so you can be the flower God called you to be and bloom.

4th way to mend a broken heart

SHARE WITH YOUR TRUE FRIEND/FRIENDS

1 Thessalonians 5:11, “Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.” A true friend is not one that just allows you to build them up, but they help encourage you as well. Friends are supposed to help one another spiritually, mentally and emotionally. If you are down they should be strong enough to help lift you back up! If they can’t help lift you up, you need to re-evaluate your friendship. You want a spiritual friend, one that uses wisdom and care when talking to you at such a critical time in your life. The key to this particular moment in your life is: truth, patience and sensitivity. A true friend will know how to balance and distribute all three.

5th way to mend a broken heart

LOVE THYSELF

Proverbs 19:8, “He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.” Remember that it’s ok to love yourself; this is a must, especially when healing. If you don’t love yourself in this process you are going to fail, and your heart WILL STAY BROKEN! Love yourself, treat yourself!!! You are more than a conqueror, you are the VICTOR! You can survive on faith and faith alone! This is your time, your season, you will win!!! Remember like the beautiful scripture above states, ...he that keeps understanding shall find good. Understand the process, and that God brought you to it and he will bring you through it! There is sunshine and a rainbow at the end of a rainy day!!!

I hope and pray that this will guide and help heal a broken heart! You are beautiful, powerful and called for greatness.
